The og:image URL could not be fetched. Social platforms won't be able to display it.

Why this matters

An unreachable og:image URL (404, DNS fail, slow timeout) means social platforms cache the failure and serve no image for hours.

Learn more

Social platforms (Facebook, Twitter) cache OG metadata aggressively — including failed image fetches. A momentarily-broken og:image can leave your shares imageless for hours. Test og:image URLs in Facebook's Sharing Debugger to force re-cache after fixing.

The og:url tag specifies the canonical URL for the shared content.

Why this matters

Without og:url, social platforms infer the canonical URL — often picking a tracking-param variant that pollutes share counts.

Learn more

og:url tells the social platform which URL to count this share against. Without it, platforms use the literal URL the user pasted (which may include utm_* parameters, ref codes, etc.). Setting og:url to the canonical form keeps share-count attribution clean.

Source: Open Graph Protocol

The og:site_name tag displays the website name in social previews.

Why this matters

Without og:site_name, social cards omit the brand attribution — users see the post but not who published it.

Learn more

og:site_name appears in the social card chrome (above the title in Facebook/LinkedIn previews). Without it, posts read as anonymous URLs. Set it to your brand name to get free attribution on every share.

1 JSON-LD block(s) found — some improvements recommended.
Warning::
Missing or invalid @context in block #1
The @context should be "https://schema.org" for search engines to recognize the data.

The @context should be "https://schema.org" for search engines to recognize the data.

Expected: https://schema.org
Why this matters

JSON-LD without @context is invalid structured data — Google ignores the entire block.

Learn more

@context must be 'https://schema.org' (or the schema-specific URL). Without it, the block isn't parseable as schema.org JSON-LD and Google skips it. Most schema generators handle this; manual edits sometimes drop the field.

"transcript": "Nonprofits are changing the world for the better, but this can't be easy. Having to balance impact with limited resources is a constant struggle. That's why we created Zeffy, the only one hundred percent free fundraising platform for nonprofits in North America. And when we say free, we mean it.\n\nWith Zeffy, when someone donates one hundred dollars to a nonprofit, they get one hundred dollars. On every other software, the nonprofit only keeps around ninety five dollars. Why? Every other software charges fees, transaction fees, credit card fees, platform fees.\n\nAt Zeffy, we don't charge any fees, and we never will. Sound too good to be true? Yeah. We get that a lot.\n\nThat's why we made this video. Let's start with the how. We're funded entirely through voluntary contributions from donors. When someone gives using our platform, they can choose to contribute to Zeffy.\n\nNot everyone gives every time, and that's okay. Collectively, we're able to cover our overhead and the fees of the thousands of nonprofits that use our software. And donors, they love the transparency and the simplicity of our forms. That's why so many of them support us.\n\nNext up, the why. If everyone else charges something, why don't we? Well, last year, nonprofit organizations paid around three billion dollars in transaction fees. That's enough to feed one point four million children for a year or plant sixty million trees or build twenty thousand homes.\n\nYou get it. There's a much better way to use that money. Nonprofits shouldn't be limited by costly platforms and hidden fees. That's why at Zeffy, we're doing our part by offering equal access to the best fundraising tech, making it simpler to host events, sell tickets, run campaigns, open an online shop, offer memberships, and so much more.\n\nWe even accept all payment types, even in person payments included. When we say we're here for nonprofits, we mean it. We're rated number one for our unlimited customer support, ensuring every nonprofit can succeed with Zeffy. There are millions to help.\n\nWe're breaking the mold to help them.",

Findings

  • Missing brand name in: og:site_name, twitter:site, Organization.name
  • Add twitter:image — Twitter falls back to og:image only when it's larger than 300×157
  • Add an apple-touch-icon and at least two PNG sizes (32x32 + 192x192)
  • No Organization schema — Google can't render your logo in the knowledge panel
  • Only partial contact info discoverable — consider adding a dedicated contact page or mailto/tel link
